Hyperstition unveils on-chain voting for NEWS holders
Hyperstition has launched a voting platform on Solana for the NEWS token.
It is the latest addition to the token’s vision for on-chain utility.
Hyperstition has created an on-chain voting module designed to let holders of its native NEWS token participate in shaping the Web3 media platform’s editorial direction and product offerings.
Built on Solana’s Realms, the Voting System marks an important milestone on Hyperstition’s path to becoming the leading hub for consuming, creating, and speculating on news related to Internet Capital Markets (ICMs).
Voting is proportional to the number of NEWS (NEWS) tokens deposited into Hyperstition’s Realms module. Hyperstition plans to share more on upcoming NEWS token votes in June.
Since launching NEWS on Pump.fun in May, Hyperstition has unveiled multiple envisioned use-cases for the community token.

The NEWS Network
On May 23, Hyperstition announced the formation of the NEWS Network, a growing coalition of crypto-native content creators aligned around the NEWS token.
The NEWS Network “brings together creators, advertisers and audiences in a shared network of value,” Josh, a cryptocurrency streamer and early member of the NEWS Network, said in a May 23 X post.
“Tagging and aligning with the News community should, in theory, help CT creators reach audiences that will amplify their content,” Josh added in a May 29 post.
Hyperstition is developing Rewards Programs to incentivize audiences to engage with the NEWS Network across social media and other channels.
Additionally, Hyperstition is preparing a NEWS Network Leaderboard that ranks advertisers based on the amount of NEWS they stake or burn.
Higher-ranked participants will receive greater visibility across the NEWS Network’s distribution channels, such as newsletters, livestreams, and social feeds.

In-app markets and more
On May 29, Hyperstition tipped plans to explore embedding Solana launchpad Opinions.fun’s on-chain Opinion Markets directly into its newsletter app.
“Think about having an opinion market embedded at the end of a newsletter article… [where] people can agree or disagree—and they can decide with their capital and basically have a stake in that opinion,” Opinions.fun co-founder Momo told Hyperstition during a May 29 interview.
Any integrations will follow Opinions.fun’s upcoming v2 product launch, which aims to add creator fee sharing to the platform’s opinion markets.
Additionally, Hyperstition has plans to roll out gated Alpha Groups accessible to users who stake or burn NEWS.
They are intended as exclusive forums for top traders, builders, and creators participating in the NEWS Network and related markets.
