War coin meta explodes again after Trump strikes Iran
The HIJAB and MIGA tokens soared after the US escalated its involvement in the Middle East.
Older war-meta tokens are also surging.

War-themed memecoins are once-again surging on Solana amid renewed US military action in the Middle East and escalating rhetoric from President Donald Trump, who hinted Sunday at possible regime change in Iran.
The wave of token launches followed Trump’s June 21 announcement that US forces had struck three Iranian nuclear sites with B-2 bombers.
Since then, dozens of new memecoins referencing the conflict, energy markets, and military escalation have gone live on platforms such as Pump.fun, many of them reaching six- or seven-figure caps within hours or days of creation.

Top performers include DogWifHijab (HIJAB) and MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN (MIGA), both of which broke $800,000 on June 23 before partly retracing. They currently trade at market capitalizations of roughly $350,000 and $250,000, respectively.
New entrant werld wur Thwee (ww3), minted June 22, reached a market cap of as high as $1.5 million within 48 hours of launching.
It joins a growing roster of tokens referencing global conflict, including World War 3 (Ww3), launched last year.
Older war coins rally
Other older war-themed tokens are also experiencing a revival.
BunkerCoin (BUNKER), first launched in January, surged from around $300,000 to as high as roughly $5 million on June 22 amid speculation of a retaliatory Iranian counterstrike against US targets.
As of June 23, BUNKER still trades at more than $1 million, according to DexScreener. A separate project with the same name launched June 13 and is currently trading near $200,000 after briefly touching highs of $1.8 million.
Thematically adjacent memecoins referencing defense stocks, inflation hedges, and commodity narratives also outperformed.

Digital Oil Memecoin (OIL), which launched back in January, climbed above $4 million on June 22. It currently trades at around $2.5 million.
It had traded at less than $100,000 for months before the Middle Eastern conflict erupted in June.
Just an oil guy (OILGUY), launched June 22, blends references to the popular Chill Guy meme and the ongoing geopolitical conflict.
This weekend’s resurgence follows an earlier burst of coin creations on and around June 13, when Iran and Israel first started exchanging daily missile strikes.
Entrants like Global Money Supply (M2) and Palantir Inu (PI) have posted strong runs since mid-June, capitalizing on anxiety over energy disruption and wartime surveillance.
Other smaller-cap tokens — including A Safe Investment (GUNS) and Sponsored By Coinbase (SPONSORED) — also layer defense memes with ironic stabs at tradfi and institutional sponsorship.
More US-themed war coins?
The latest escalation has sharpened focus on American involvement.
A June 23 CNN report confirmed Trump’s strikes used advanced bunker-busting munitions and targeted uranium enrichment sites. The president has since hinted on social media at the possibility of Iranian “regime change.”
If Iran retaliates or Trump orders further strikes, Solana’s war meta may continue its climb.
